Freedom Comes From Within

The inspiration for this painting came from the lightness I felt one day when I was at Dow's Lake - such a beautiful place here in Ottawa - watching my family having fun and thanking God for so much.

All that I keep thanking Him for aren't things money can buy. On the contrary, it's a freedom that doesn't come from the outside. It is born from within, from the moment you let go of what is material to focus on what truly makes sense for you.

When we are at peace, we become so light we feel like we could float. It's closing your eyes and feeling whole, 100 percent, without carrying the weight the world tries to put on us all the time.

May we find this peace, this lightness, this fullness, most days. And feel truly free.
