Can you see what I see??

This painting was supposed to be about the adult wolf and the sense of protection it gives the baby.

But once I started painting, I felt something different. It’s not about the strength the adult wolf has. This painting is about the little one — the one who has no idea how much power it holds. That little wolf makes the adult feel strong enough to face any enemy, just to protect its baby.

This is exactly how I feel about my kids. Being a mom is the most important project of my life, and I wish they could understand the strength they give me every day. I do things I never thought I could do, just to show them they too can do anything they set their minds to. Now I understand how my parents felt my whole life.
