Nine years ago, I moved to Canada in search of a calmer life. I love it here, but with that dream came challenges I never saw coming. I’ve been pushed out of my comfort zone more times than I can count. There were days I thought I wouldn’t make it.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eBut I held on. I kept trying to see the good in the middle of the chaos, because that’s life: you never have it all at once.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eLittle by little, I got stronger. Every challenge became a win. Every mistake, a lesson. My peace comes from the strength to accept myself, to understand who I am, and to be proud of my story and the battles I’ve won, even when I was afraid.
