A Creative Afternoon of Art, Connection, and Inspiration – July 17 Workshop Recap
On July 17, I had the pleasure of hosting another wonderful painting workshop, bringing together a group of talented and enthusiastic women for an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and meaningful connection.
Participants were guided through the creation of a vibrant floral composition on round canvases, exploring expressive brushstrokes, colour layering, and intuitive painting techniques. Each artist added her own unique touch, resulting in beautiful and distinctive pieces that reflected individual creativity and personality.

One of the most rewarding aspects of these workshops is seeing how a simple blank canvas transforms into something personal and meaningful. Throughout the session, participants encouraged one another, shared stories, and embraced the creative process without worrying about perfection—focusing instead on expression, enjoyment, and discovery.
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with delicious refreshments, great conversation, and plenty of artistic exploration. By the end of the workshop, everyone left with a completed painting, new memories, and a renewed sense of creative confidence.

Workshops like this remind me why I love teaching art. Art has a unique way of bringing people together, creating space for mindfulness, self-expression, and connection. Whether someone paints regularly or is picking up a brush for the first time, there is always something special about sharing the creative journey with others.
Thank you to everyone who joined me on July 17 and made the day so memorable. Your enthusiasm, openness, and creativity made the workshop a true success.
I look forward to creating with you again soon.
